2021 VW ID.4 Specs: Price

The Volkswagen ID.4 was built and designed to be an affordable electric vehicle (EV) for all types of West Des Moines drivers — and its budget-friendly price reflects that. Unlike other overly expensive EVs, the Volkswagen ID.4 offers a suite of premium features, a long electric driving range, and all-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive drivetrain options with a starting MSRP of just $39,995,* making it more affordable than competitors like the Tesla Model Y. The 2021 Volkswagen ID.4 comes in three trim levels – the ID.4 Pro, 1st Edition, and Pro S. The ID.4 Pro and 1st Edition are already available for pre-order, but the ID.4 Pro S won’t be available until later this year.

2021 ID.4 Performance Specs

The Volkswagen ID.4 is a fully electric vehicle, meaning there is no combustion engine powering it. Instead, an electric motor that’s charged via an outlet powers the ID.4 on your Waukee commute. The Volkswagen ID.4 electric engine offers up to 304 hp and 229 lb-ft of torque for your daily drives. It also has a 2,700-pound towing capacity which – combined with the on-demand torque EVs are known for – will make towing your small trailers or equipment a breeze.
