She is a great listener who allowed me to share my situation and then she went to work on finding best options to consider. She was Professional and respectful in every part of the process. Went in looking for a certified used vehicle, and got into a brand new one for only a little bit more money. Omelia was very helpful along the way. Was talking to a dealership in Minnesota at the same time, and they could only get to within $2,000 of the price I was able to get here.
Ms. Terronez and Lithia VW did a great job, they were fair to deal with, pleasant, and helpful. My new car was ready for me to pick up right on time. I highly recommend them, and Ms. Terronez in particular. She was great!

Everyone in the dealership went out of there way to make sure they found the right car for me. They even went out of state to get it and didn’t charge me extra.
I will start by saying I am happy with my vehicle now that it is home and working. To get to this point though there were frustrations. We went to the dealership wanting to see a specific vehicle and had a great experience test driving it with Marie. Once we got back to the dealership though they continued to waste our time trying to sell it to us for more than we said we would pay. I understand that this is part of the process, but wasting hours of my time right before Christmas with family in town is obnoxious and rude. When we finally got the price down and paid for it I went to drive the car off the lot and it said it was not recognizing the key and would not start. I went inside and Marie was kind and went to find out what was going wrong. The “guys in the back” didn’t come out to look at it or make me feel at ease that the vehicle I just purchased was not defective but told Marie to have me wave the key I front of the sensor and it would work. They also said that they had no issues driving it around the lot so they weren’t sure what happened. It felt as if they were saying I had somehow in the minute I owned the vehicle messed something up. The car started and I was able to drive it home that night, but the next day when I went to drive the car to the store it refused to start in my garage. Once again it said it didn’t recognize the key. This was a Sunday and the dealership was closed. I was able to text Marie and she was kind and said she would speak with the service department. The car had to be towed to the dealership and the service department shared that the keys needed to be programmed to the car, the batteries replaced, and a new car battery installed. These are minor things, but things that should have been done before we purchased the car and took it home. I was disappointed that no one on Saturday evening when we purchased the car and had issues with it starting and recognizing the key felt the need to come out and check the car and ensure it was ready to go. I’m thankful I wasn’t stranded somewhere with the car and that it was just stuck in our garage at home. The dealership through there actions made it seem that the only important part was the sale and it didn’t matter what happened after. Marie was very kind and tried to help as much as possible, but the individuals above her that she checked in with obviously did not care. Thankfully the experience with the service department was more positive and I feel confident the issue is corrected.
Omilia Was very helpful, she took her time to explain all the features of the new car I was test driving I definitely would talk to her again and refer all my friends to her

I went to the dealership and everyone was very helpful and with very little nonsense got me into the vehicle i wanted at the price i wanted.

We had our own financing and had abtimebto be at the dealership and we sat there 3 hours without anything being done with regards to paperwork. We left they called us to come back to sign papers finally and then they forgot some of the papers and our new plates are delayed. Not sure the finance office knows what it means to multi task and/or be proactive. We were told he was too busy and he came out and said he wasn’t aware of any paperwork
They always provide excellent customer care with their services. There is a shuttle to use when you are waiting on getting your car maintenced to take you where you want to be, they also do complimentary car washes. I have no negative words about this dealership. Would recommend!!

Stopped in to get a quick oil change. I was seen immediately. Cheyenne provided excellent customer service and explained the entire process very well in a way I understood. Sometimes it can be intimidating as a women going to get service done on your car but I NEVER feel that way at Lithia. Brian, my original car salesman even came out to say hello and asked me how I was doing. Thank you Litha for always making me feel at peace with my vehicle. We were looking to replace our Routan with a 2018 Tiguan, however, the preference was for an interior that was not black. After much searching and dealing Brian found the perfect one and my wife loves it. We have purchased many vehicles from Brian and he's always been very helpful during and after the sale.
I was honestly shocked about how helpful and friendly and respectful the staff was. They listened to what I had to say and they did try and sale me some extra stuff but when k told them I'll did not want it they stopped.

Adblue fill low, service manual not updated functions performance capability. Not able to understand service contract guidelines on responsibility of owner and dealerships on service.

I had Brian Braak as my sales guy. And let me tell you. He is the best! He is patient, personable and he really cares about his clients! The best sales guy I have ever met. Lithia over all was a great place! The people are friendly, atmosphere and comfortable and clean and they really are knowledgeable. Dwayne was our financer and was also very patient(we had our toddler with us) and kind. He explained everything in detail and was even able to get us a better deal than originally planned!
Computers were down but I wish the whole sales experience would have a little quicker. Overall the experience was good just wish they could have been a little quicker.
Ongoing concerns with my '16 VW Beetle. Radio security lock (they wouldn't believe me for 2 years until a fix came out), starter switch-not always able to turn car on or off. After asking about it twice ("make sure your foot is on the brake" duh!) they finally experienced it and ordered a part. No one called for a week. I finally called and, yes, the part is in. Got it scheduled and dropped off. Picked up that afternoon. When I started it the next morning, the oil light came on. I checked the oil and it was below the fill mark. Called dealer to ask about what to do. (Okay to drive, fill it myself, etc.) Called twice and each time got into telephone xxxx. Finally left a message with the receptionist. No call back. Called the next day and got in same telephone circle. Finally got back to the receptionist who asked if I'd like to leave a message!! Said I did yesterday. Couldn't find it at first then said she would make sure they saw it. Really angry by now. Finally called my salesperson who called me back and said to bring it in. Pulled in to service garage and young man asked me how he could help. I explained about the oil light. Service advisor came out and I explained the situation. He told the young man he could check the oil, got a rag, pulled the dip stick and looked at it. He looked at the service advisor. I said "Shouldn't he clean the stick" and put it back in to see the resting level?" Advisor directed him to do so while telling me VW's do often run a quart low. I told him the car was midway in mileage and time until the next oil change which seemed strange to me it would run low now. I told him they had checked my washer fluid when the car was in a few days ago but not the oil? He said if it's not involved in the service visit, they don't. Maybe they should. And don't get me started on the brakes. They squeak continually like it needs new brakes. Always been told for the last 2 1/2 years that there is moisture and they squeak's. Doesn't matter if it is dry as a bone out or snowy. They did look at the brakes at my request on the last visit (starter) and service advisor said they did show some wear but were okay. "Next time might get a better quality of brake." When I told him they were original and this was a leased car, he had no response. Not really happy with this dealership or the car.
I didn't have to wait at all when I arrived to the dealership or when I went through the financial process. Brian and Shawn were extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire experience. The dealership is very clean and nice. I absolutely love my new Jetta!

I just had the best experience of my life working with salesmaster Brian Braak. Never have I felt so at ease working thrpugh a purchase process. As a wife buying the vehicle, he was cognizant and attentive to me as the purchaser rather than my husband, and it was refreshing. Brian has the calmest demeanor and none of the "used-car guy" attributes. He listened to us, he offered suggestions and alternatives, and had a smile on his face the entire time. Again, it was refreshing. I had a wonky finance situation and the handled it with aplomb when we had to sign papers three times. I would purchase from them again.
I have been doing business with Lithia for years. I've purchased several vehicles over the years, and have had many great experiences with the service department as well. I recently purchased a 2018 Passat R line and I am in love with the car. The looks, power, styling, everything. It's a phenomenal vehicle for the price. Brian Braak was very helpful and never pushy. He understands that I am picky and that I was going to buy the vehicle that I was going to buy, no matter what he said or did. The service department is also incredible. Amber has been a ton of help, and the technicians are top notch. I am always treated fairly and taken care of.

Also, Anthony Gladney arranged for a tin of chocolate chip cokkies be sent to our personal residence...great touch! Because of the cookies, the experience at Lithia was "a lot like going to Grandma's house"!
The return of my Passat TDI went through easily at my appt and then I worked with Brian to look at a replacement Passat TSI. Low pressure sales, willing to wait patiently a few weeks allowing me to test drive both new and certified pre-owned vehicles. I finally found the right choice for me which was inbound to the dealership and he was able to get it held for me until arrival.
They always make you feel like family around there! Everyone is awesome and helpful. They even gave me a rose and candy since it was Valentine's week!

I originally went into Lithia to look at a Toyota Corolla I found on their website. I test drove it with Brian. He was very easy to talk to and knew about the vehicle. After driving the car I could tell it wasn't the right one for me. Brian suggested I try a 2010 Jetta. I was in a situation where I needed a car ASAP so I figured why not?! I absolutely LOVED the car and Brian was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle. He told me not only about the important functions but also all the bells and whistles that came with it! I looked at the car on a Monday, he gave me the Carfax and did not pressure me into buying right then-which I really appreciated. He wanted to make sure it was the right car for me. I ended up purchasing the car the next day and would definitely recommend Brian and Lithia.

I walked into the dealership and was immediately impressed. The staff was very friendly and Andrew was right at the door to greet me. I had very little hope that they were going to be able to help me but they surprised me and went to work very hard and diligently to surcome several obstacles to get me in something that I would be happy with and get me 1 step closer to a better place in life.

Looked at this car online the night before. Called the next morning and talked to Lamont to see what we could do to hold this car till I could get there to look at it and drive it. He took care of that and I was able to come in that evening for the look and test drive. Lamont was an excellent salesman. Very easy to deal with, not pressuring or pushing the sale. Definitely knew his automobiles. Mostly concerned of what I thought about the vehicle and test drive. Also took the time to learn a little bit about me and my family and what the vehicle would be used for. Would definitely buy a new or used car from him again. Dwayne was also great to work with in financing/paperwork end of the sale. Lithia is probably happy to have both of these men!!!!!!!!!!
Lamont was great to work with. I came in to test drive a GTI to make sure I would be ok with the purchase we had planned for my husband. He answered all my questions and shared a lot of the features that I wasn't aware of in the car. Lamont and Gerry were able to get us a deal that worked. There was a bit of a wait after we decided to purchase, as the dealership was busy that Saturday, but Dwayne made the paperwork go fast. Everyone was really helpful and tried to make it up to us for having to wait.
Over the weekend I bought a VW GTI at Lithia Volkswagen and worked with Lamont Johnson. Overall, this was the best car buying experience I have had in my life. Lamont went above and beyond in every facet in educating and assisting me in the process. Dwayne, in financing, also went above and beyond to simplify the process. Together, they gave me a great deal for a great car. I am very happy with my experience.

I would have to express the service that they offered me was exceptional, but I would have to disagree on the paper work end of it, i felt that i was rushed through a lot of things and alls they wanted was the sale. Some request I had were planned, for example full tank of gas, and 300 dollars knocked of my car payment, once the paper work was ran up none of these two planned ideas, instead they put the paper work back to the same listing amount and still sold me the car for asking price.
Ok experience. Caleb is a great salesman to work with. Very friendly. Sales manager Dwayne was ok. I felt extremely rushed filling out my paperwork for the purchase. It was past closing time so I understand, but that wasn’t my fault. The customers in front of me took forever. Wish I would have gotten more for my trade in , but that kind of stuff is common. Multiple inquiries into my credit occurred though, which I get was unnecessary. That negatively effected my credit score. Very nice dealership inside though with decent amenities. Overall decent experience with the exceptions of the rushed paperwork and credit inquiries.

Clean friendly dealership respectful of our time schedule. Was very impressed with the Atlas as have been Toyota and Honda owners in the past. The six year warranty also impressed.
We had cruise control installed on our new 2017 VW Tiguan Limited as the vehicle did not come with it. The install was professional. We live 2.5 hours away and the cruise worked flawlessly keeping the speed within about a mile or so on our Missouri hill country.
Same as I stated above, I would return to Lithia to have service and or repair work done on my VW Atlas . Mechanics are well trained and thorough.
I knew that I wanted to buy a year old, low miles Atlas so I emailed about one they had and Georan responded right away to confirm availability. We were greeted by Trey when we came to test drive the vehicle. He was knowledgeable and helpful. Even when I wasn't sure it was the exact interior and exterior color I wanted, they said that they would work with me to locate exactly what I wanted. We decided to go ahead with purchasing the one they had in stock and worked with Trey. I was really impressed with him - he's honest, hardworking and even helped move my car seats in freezing weather. Dwayne helped me with all of the paperwork and financing. He was a joy and I probably could have spent all day chatting with them both. Not something you often say about negotiating a car purchase! Most importantly, I was impressed with how they treated me as a woman. They didn't defer to my husband during discussions about features or pricing. It was a great experience and I definitely recommend them both.
I worked with Caleb to buy my 2013 Nissan Rogue. Great experience beginning to end! Initially reached out with interest in the car I found on their website. I came in that day for a test drive, they weren’t too pushy and answered all of my questions. Got a great value on my trade in, and with a little negotiating I got the car at the price I was hoping for! Had a tire pressure warning light pop on after driving it off the lot, and Caleb got me in the next day to take a look at it (no issues with the vehicle). The salesperson Trey was outstanding and there were no issues with the sale of the used car. There was a VERY minor (but safety-related) repair issue so they were going to hold the car for a day or two until they had the 5-10 minutes to fix it. A few days turned into a week and communication was terrible. I called to ask if the tech could simply check the check engine light code while he was doing the other fix (something any autozone will do for free) and he refused, telling me I'd have to ask a salesman to ask him to do it. I was also told multiple times that I'd be called back and I was not. Also, they could not tell me the VIN of my new car when I asked for it for my insurance company. Finally, they told me to come in and pick up the title but when I called, I was sent to the Acura business office, where they told me the title would be sent to the county. The ridiculous disconnect between sales and service really ruins the otherwise good purchase experience. Two wings that should work together to maximize sales and sales after the service actually hate each other, and the customer gets caught in the middle. And I still don't have my car!

Had a phenomenal experience with Caleb. Did my research and comparative shopping before I came in, so I had plenty of questions and hurdles for Caleb to jump through. Test drive was very relaxed, negotiations were done with respect, and timelines were met. My car was ordered from Missouri initially, until the deal fell through between dealerships. Caleb was able to secure the car I ended up purchasing from Indiana, where it was shipped to Lithia, only one day later than I had initially planned for the first car. As a car guy who has tried a slew of manufacturers and dealerships, new and used, I have to say my experience with Caleb and Lithia was right at the top. I’d definitely recommend!

From my initial visit to the Lithia VW website to driving away with my new car, Morgan and Dwayne had answers to all my questions. Morgan seemed more like a friend than a car salesman and was easy to work with. I am happy with the deal they gave me, and the financials worked out the way I needed them to. Some of the wait times to get pricing information from managment seemed excessive, my overall experience was very good.

I went in not knowing what to expect. Im a Maryland transplant and normally my Dad would assist me with buying a new vehicle. Randy joked I could pretend he was my dad and he would guide me as best he could. He worked closely with me and listened to what I wanted. In the end I left with a new car. He has assisted me with the after sale services I purchased and made it all seamless. Dwayne was fun and nice to work with through the financial aspect and paper work. They were both like dealing with a family member or friend more than a stranger or like other dealerships that try to force you into something.
We decided to visit Volkswagen, as an afterthought, on our way to purchase a Kia down the road. We were immediately assisted by Trey and Lamont, who promptly showed us the two options that fit our criteria, a Tiguan and an Atlas. They were both very knowledgable about the vehicle specs and features. We ultimately decided on a Tiguan. The manager Scott was very helpful in clarifying the purchase process and pricing. Financing was smooth with Dwayne. Upon returning to the dealership for a minor issue (glue residue), Randall was willing and able to assist us promptly in Lamont's absence. I would highly recommend Randall, Lamont, or Trey to help you find the perfect vehicle that works for your family and budget.

I told the sales person I wanted to pay cash for my car, I was told that I could not and was forced to take out a loan. Even though I will be paying off the loan very soon I don't think it is a good business practice at all. I like the new car, but I probably would go to another VW dealer in the future.

The car buying experience was good excluding the financial side. The only complaint that I have is that the financial department ran at least seven (7), yes seven, separate loan hard inquiries for my credit. That dropped my overall credit scores from 84 to 103 points depending on the bureau. I have seen this complaint submitted in reviews for Lithia in the past. If you come to Lithia be sure to ask who and how they are submitting loan requests!
Dwayne was and has been just AWESOME in helping me get into a good vehicle. Chris was instrumental in this great success, as well. I know salespersons jobs are to "get it sold", but I believe they worked hard to make it happen when they could have given up and moved on to someone who required less work. I bought a used VW Golf from this dealership in August and I've had nothing but problems with it and I have had to put in over $2000 worth of necessary repairs. Every time something goes wrong, even though it is obvious...there is a $140/hr diagnosis charge which has never taken less than 2 hours. The shuttle hours are much less than the average 8 hour work day and my car has never been done in less than 3 days. During my last oil change they came up with over $1500 worth of needed repairs and marked them as URGENT. A second opinion said these were unnecessary for at least another 30,000 miles.

I was asked permission for a couple of hours of diagnostic I get charged over $400 for the diagnosis alone after I was told its $125 an hour and for a COUPLE of hours that adds up to $250 for the diagnosis not over$400 had I known that I would have not got a diagnostics test because that is an absurd price on top of having to pay over $5000 just to get it fixed it was a very terrible experience

First off we love the Passat but the customer service is terrible! When we test drove the car the gas light came on ( no biggie ) we ended up buying the car and it was late by the time we got all of the paperwork done. Thank goodness there is a gas station across the street! No gas in the Passat when we drove off the lot. Before we drove off I noticed there were no floor mats. Trey said he would order them. After several texts and call to Trey we finally got them. Along with not having floor mats the first aid kit was missing also. I know this seems petty but I paid for it it was on the sticker of the car. I have talked to Trey, Brandon, Scott, and the finance guy several times. I have been told everything from we will have to order it to it’s in the parts department to we will just take one from another car to the manager is taking care of it. It is know December 11th and I have yet to see or here from anyone. I guess even though I have paid for the first aid kit I just figured im not going to receive it. The next thing is we have had to redo the paperwork 4 time now. What’s irritating is all of the trips back to the dealership we have made due to the poor communication and what seems like the lack of knowledge of all of the papers we signed. If l could change the first review I definitely would. Like I said at the beginning we love the Passat but this whole car buying experience at VW of Des Moines was not a good one! I would recommend buying a VW but not from this dealership. Thanks Jeff

Lithia has continuously provided us with poor service no matter the sales rep. We knew what car we wanted before we entered the dealership. Three days later we got the car at 5 pm in a snowstorm. We had to wait around for hours to see the finance person and the battery was dead in the car so the test drive was delayed. This is the only VW dealer in town so we are stuck if we want a VW.

they have the inventory i was looking for and the product was top notch. the less than positive... if you're not a patient person you will likely be frustrated. they seem to be lacking any sense of urgency once the papers are signed. in fairness, a voicemail the salesman left for me didn't actually get to my phone until 2 days later, so verizon has to take some of the blame.
